Jerry Bradley

Jerry grew up in Arkansas, married and raised a family there. As a young wife and mother with a full time job, she used painting as a way to relax. She painted while she cooked because the kitchen was large enough for her easel. "I've ruined a lot of food during my lifetime, but my family doesn't mind, because when I paint my spirit is positively affected". For several years she supplemented their income by painting portraits.

Oils had always been her medium of choice until she started taking watercolor classes under Jeffrey Jakub. After the first class she packed up her oils and stored the large easel in the shed. She says watercolors can be frustrating and challenging, but the rewards are great.

Jerry and her husband, Melvin live on the river, East of Chocowinity. They have two children who can't paint, but both are excellent cooks!
